Hague, August 12 AZERTAC
Azerbaijani Embassy in the Netherlands and Hague International Law Academy have held a round table about decision of the European Court of Human Rights on “Chiragov and others v. Armenia”.
The event brought together about 20 lawyers from Azerbaijan, the US, China, Brazil, Columbia, Italy, Poland, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The participants were informed about the main foreign priorities of Azerbaijan, the country`s achievements gained in various fields, as well as the activity of Embassies of Azerbaijan accredited abroad in popularization of realities of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
They discussed legal aspects of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the final decision of European Court of Human Rights on “Chiragov and others v. Armenia”.
The participants expressed regret that international unity, did not give legal necessary assessment to this aggression fact. The aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan continues more than 20 years.
