Hungarian people informed about truth of “Armenian genocide”

Azerbaijani and Turkish Embassies in Hungary have held a conference at the Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Institute, entitled “Hidden truth: the “Armenian question” in Anatolia and Southern Caucasus in 1915-1918s”. The aim of the conference is to objectively inform Hungarian public about the fictional Armenian genocide.

Moderator of the conference Hungarian MP Tamás Hegedűs stressed the importance of exploring different views on the issue. So far the issue was introduced one-sidedly by Armenian side, he added. Turkish Ambassador Shakir Fakili and his Azerbaijani colleague Vilayet Guliyev informed about the essence of the “Armenian question” and its consequences.

Jeremy Mill Salt, professor at the Bilkent University made a report on the crimes made by Dashnaksutyun Party and Armenian armed forces in Anatolia. Representative of ANAS Institute of History, PhD Nigar Gozalova proposed historical facts about Armenians’ terrible crimes in 1918 March in Baku, Guba, Shamakhi provinces.

Former President of the Hungarian parliament, deputies, ambassadors, diplomats, scientists and members of Turkish and Azerbaijani communities attended the event.
