Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains an obstacle to the full use of the Eastern Partnership, the minister said.
"Official Baku expects the EU displays a clear answer to the challenges that exist in the region on security, taking into account its commitment to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is also urged to implement the UN Security Council adopted resolutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Azerbaijan also strongly believes that the liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories by Armenia will lead to peace and security in the region, which for a long time awaiting the peoples of the region and the international community, "- said Mammadyarov.
