“Azerbaijan will not participate in NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s Rose Roth seminar to be held in Armenia,” first Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov has told journalists.
“Azerbaijan will not participate in an event in Armenia, unless Armenia is recognized as an aggressive state or does not withdraw its troops from the occupied Azerbaijani territories.”
“The chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was informed about it. We said that holding such events in Armenia will not bring influence to NATO PA”, he added.
Asgarov referred to the Armenian delegation`s provocation at a session in Budapest, saying NATO`s “turning a blind eye to this is a clear manifestation of double standards”.
