Azerbaijan`s defense ministry has said three Armenian tanks were destroyed and around 30 servicemen killed in a counter attack carried out by the Azerbaijani armed forces. “On April 4, the Armenian military units attempted to launch an attack on the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Khojavand-Fuzuli direction. The Azerbaijani armed forces immediately launched a counter attack destroying the enemy’s tanks and killing servicemen.”
“In addition, as a result of pinpoint strikes a battery of the enemy was also destroyed.”
“Our armed forces maintain full control over the operational situation along the frontline, and stand ready to repulse any provocative action,” the ministry said.
