“All the co-chairs have been informed about the events that occurred in Ganja last night, they have been provided with additional information too,” Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan told local and foreign journalists in ganja, APA reports.
He noted that under the instruction of the Republic of Azerbaijan they have visited Ganja together with Prosecutor General and other persons: “ Additional press conference on the events occurred will be held in Prosecutor’s general office in Ganja too. We once again evaluate these events as genocide acts.”
Note that on October 11, 2020, around 02 a.m a multi-apartment building in Ganja city, the second-largest city of Azerbaijan which is located far from the war zone, was subject to heavy shelling by the Armed Forces of the enemy.
According to the latest information, as a result of, missile strikes, 9 civilians including 4 women were killed, dozens of people were injured and it was reported that some are still under the wreckages.
Rescue work is underway.
