Australian athlete Ty Swadling says it would be great to win a medal at the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku.

Speaking to Trend at the Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport on March 1, the gymnast said the tournament in Baku is the second competition for him in 2016.

“We have already had a championship in Australia. But this is my first international tournament in 2016,” he explained.

Swadling says every tournament is very important for him before the selections for the Olympic Games.

The athlete also said he wants to demonstrate a high-quality performance in Baku.

“I hope I will advance to finals and win a medal. That would be great,” he added.
