The Armenian armed forces have lost seven soldiers in the clashes over the past two days on the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops, the Armenian media outlets reported March 30.
The Armenian media also reported that an epidemic of tuberculosis with grave consequences is widespread among the Armenian servicemen.
As the local population said, due to the lack of medicines for the wounded and those sick with tuberculosis, a field hospital was deployed at the third regiment of the fourth battalion, stationed in Garakend.
“However, there is no doubt that this time too, the Armenian leadership will pretend to be deaf and blind,” the Armenian media said. “Unfortunately, the non-transparent work of the defence ministry, the lack of control on the part of civil society, and even by the deputy corps, will further lead to the tragic incidents in the Armenian army.”
“Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov keeps his word, while the Armenian Minister Seyran Ohanyan accuses the soldiers’ mothers,” the Armenian media outlets said further.
